In the winter of 1978, Everett Bettis offered to sell his lumber yard to his cousin, Ruell Bettis. Ruell Bettis, a long-established builder and customer of Everett’s, thought this would complement his business greatly. So on May 1st 1978, Midway Building Supply opened for business. Ruell asked his sons Stan and Bryan to run the store for him.
The Bettis family felt the best way to run their business was the same way Everett had done it. This was to offer superior products, treat each customer with great respect and to be a helpful member of the community. Since 1978, Midway Building Supply has carried out this plan and the business is growing at a steady pace.
Midway Building Supply carries a full line of framing lumber, treated lumber, doors, windows, siding, mouldings, roofing and hardware.
We have a fleet of delivery trucks that are able to handle any size project, delivered to the job site. Our service area includes Atlanta and the surrounding metro area, as well as North Georgia.
Most of our employees have been here for 10+ years, and some with 20+ and even 30+ so you always will see a familiar face that will know you by your name.
